Ceramic Arts Association of Western Australia
Whoopsie! I wrote a posting here about the new website for CAAWA - the Ceramic Arts Association of Western Australia. That was in May 2011 - I told you I hadn't done much blogging last year, and it seems that I actually forgot to hit the PUBLISH button. Not too smart of me but to err is human and all that jazz. Anyhow, check out CAAWA, it provides a good overview of the variety of potters here, many are woodfirers, some are strictly porcelain bods and there are plenty of other varieties.
Here is some work by Janis Heston - yet another potter who lives very close to me, and they are all so NICE too. Lucky me.

Trawling ..
Online Ceramics is for anyone who loves hand made contemporary studio pottery. Every piece is individually chosen to give you the very best examples of the artists work. This is a great place to research the ceramics scene today. Here we have the late Emmanuel Cooper with an example of his volcanic glazes, a particular interest of mine. He certainly left his mark on British contemporary ceramics.
